We’re an independent, family run business with 80 years’ expertise in
optical manufacturing and supply. We offer frames, lenses and cases through our
three brands: Continental, Jai Kudo and Optoplast.
Established over 35 years ago, Continental Eyewear is one of the leading UK based spectacle frame distributors.
All of our exclusive frame styles are developed by our team of in-house designers and ensure to utilise quality materials and the latest production technology. Our growing portfolio of products includes the award-winning X-eyes Lite collection and the brand new Cameo Sustain brand, made from 100% recycled plastic.
We also exclusively distribute Walter & Herbert, Made in England, and Reykjavik Eyes, the premium brand made in Italy from Japanese Titanium, inspired by the Icelandic themes of fire and ice.
Established in 1996, we are an international supplier of stock and surfaced ophthalmic lenses.
Our primary goal is to offer an exceptional product range combined with unrivalled value for money to the independent optician, allowing us to partner with practitioners to develop their in-practice lens technology and increase their business profitability.
We have almost one million lenses in stock, with a next day stock lens delivery and accept orders with remote edge files, along with a full edge glazing service from our in-house lab.
Optoplast supply the optical industry with cases, frame parts and accessories including cleaning cloths, spectacle chains and tools for dispensing and glazing.
Founded in 1946 by Walter Conway and Herbert Thorn in Millmead, Guildford in Surrey. Optoplast celebrates over seven decades as a leader in the optical industry – boasting a rich heritage and history.
